How it started

The mission

The FIRE NETWORK is a collection of leaders and ministers committed to seeing the every lost soul saved and Chicago SHAKEN by the fire of God.

The Call

We envision city shaken by the fire of God, as His people (Leaders, ministers, and Churches) commit to reaching the lost in their communities thru faithful, consistent evangelistic efforts.

The Fire

It all began with a simple invitation. Founder of Grace and Peace Church in Chicago, John Zayas, received an invite to a Pastor’s gathering. What followed was nothing short of divine.

After conversations with his pastoral team, Pastor John Zayas, received a personal call from Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne — inviting four GP leaders to in Tampa, Florida to experience what would soon come to Chicago. After four days of impartation and vision, they returned carrying a fire, a mission, and a call from God.

That call transformed those men and prepared them for what was to come Good News Chicago - Chicago Ablaze at Credit Union 1 Arena. Thousands experienced the power of God and had an encounter with the fire of God. The result? 30,000 souls saved in just one week.

But God wasn’t done. God said a second week of revival, hosted at Intentional Sports on the Grace and Peace Church campus — which brought another 20,000 souls into the Kingdom.

This is only the beginning. Pastor John Zayas received the mandate to continue the work that was start, fanning the flame of revival. He knew the mission was not just to host conferences, but to equip and ignite leaders with the same soul-winning fire that shook their lives.

Fire Network Chi

That mission is now Fire Network Chicago — a hub where pastors, leaders, and volunteers unite under one vision:

  • To spread the Gospel with power and love

  • To resource churches with proven soul-winning curriculum

  • To awaken the dormant, revive the weary, and call the lost home

We long to see souls saved. We long to see leaders rise. We believe the fire of God in Chicago will not burn out — it will spread until the city declares: Jesus is King of Chicago.
